Artistic Director Amy Werba established The Bilingual Acting Workshop (BAW) in Paris in 1995. BAW is a multicultural organization where classes are taught in English but participants are encouraged to act in their own language. Since BAW's inception, it has been associated with American University in Paris-NYU, Wells College, Euro-Disney, and Cirque du Soleil. In 2008 BAW opened a New York affiliate in conjunction with the Living Theatre where it continues to develop and shape the craft of acting, directing, playwriting and screenwriting with an "ensemble" environment.
