Actors Needed!

BAW Instructor Chris Mack is going to host an Anglophone radio show on World Radio Paris called Cozy Fun Paris, which starts in April.  You can learn more about it here:

http://www.worldradioparis.org/cozy

It will feature radio plays, readings of short stories, and also, short stories about the expat life in France.  For those of you who are familiar with the NPR radio stations,  it is sort of a cross between Prairie Home Companion, This American Life, and Selected Shorts.

Chris is looking for segments for a portion of the show called Paris Tales, about Anglophones in Paris and the rest of France.   The first show will have to do with April in Paris and Spring.  A time of hope, renewal, love, and hopefully, less rain.  But also, in general, he is looking for experiences from real people in France, like you, who have chosen to make France their home.

If you have a Franglo experience you'd like to share, on pretty much any subject, please send Chris an email.  He would be delighted to speak with you.

Chris is also in need of a producer for the new radio show.  He is looking for someone to help him select the material, organize interviews, line up talent and recording dates, etc., for the show.  The first episode airs in April.

The show will be a one-hour mixture of radio plays, short stories, and talk, for the Anglophone audience in France, featuring prominent local actors and authors. There is no pay at this point, but it is an opportunity to get involved with the creative and organizational sides of a new local Paris-based radio show.  It's public radio, run by an association.  But it is an opportunity for rising talents to work and be credited on a project.  It should only take a few days of work a month to organize.

For more information, or to apply for the position contact Chris at cozyfunparis@gmail.com
