MY MOTHER WANTED TO BURN. There were at least two kinds of flames she wanted to jump into. She wanted to be an artist and she wanted to have sex. But she couldn’t figure out how to burn like that and stay alive.
I wrapped my arms around my mothers body and my questions and I jumped into the flames. World Without End is record of how we burned.
